Leroy M. Parker, MD
Dr. Parker is a graduate of Harvard College and obtained his MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. He received specialty training in medical oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and joined the faculty at Dana-Farber in 1975. He holds the rank of Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is an attending physician at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. He has authored more than 50 scientific articles. Dr. Parker serves as an Overseer of the Sea Education Association. He is the president of the Nina Ryan Foundation and is a director of Anchor Stone Company, a family-owned business in Tulsa, Okla. Dr. Parker and his wife, Winifred, live in Wayland, Mass.
